Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to meet with members of the all-party global delegations involved in the Operation Sindoor diplomatic outreach on Tuesday at 7 PM at his official residence on Lok Kalyan Marg.

According to sources, Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju’s office informed the delegates about the meeting, which comes after the conclusion of India’s largest coordinated diplomatic effort to rally international support against terrorism.

The outreach, initiated in response to the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack that killed 26 tourists, involved over 50 members—MPs from across political lines, former ambassadors, and senior officials—visiting more than 30 countries. The aim was to present India’s zero-tolerance policy on terrorism and highlight Pakistan’s continued support for terror activities.

Seven delegations, each led by a Member of Parliament, were formed:

  • Group 1: Led by BJP’s Baijayant Panda, visited Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, and Algeria.
  • Group 2: Headed by BJP’s Ravi Shankar Prasad, traveled to the UK, France, Germany, the EU, Italy, and Denmark.
  • Group 3: Led by JD(U)’s Sanjay Kumar Jha, visited Indonesia, Malaysia, South Korea, Japan, and Singapore.
  • Group 4: Shiv Sena MP Shrikant Eknath Shinde led visits to UAE, Liberia, Congo, and Sierra Leone.
  • Group 5: Congress leader Shashi Tharoor led the team to the US, Panama, Guyana, Brazil, and Colombia.
  • Group 6: DMK’s Kanimozhi Karunanidhi led visits to Spain, Greece, Slovenia, Latvia, and Russia.
  • Group 7: Led by NCP-SCP’s Supriya Sule, visited Egypt, Qatar, Ethiopia, and South Africa.

Opposition leaders including AIMIM’s Asaduddin Owaisi and Congress MP Shashi Tharoor actively participated, underlining a rare bipartisan consensus on national security.

The delegations emphasized the need for Pakistan to be re-listed on the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) grey list, citing evidence of its support for terrorism. They also showcased India’s firm military response—Operation Sindoor, launched on May 7—which targeted terror infrastructure in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir. The operation reportedly eliminated over 100 terrorists affiliated with Lashkar-e-Taiba, Jaish-e-Mohammed, and Hizbul Mujahideen.

The meeting with the Prime Minister is expected to be a strategic debriefing session and recognition of the delegations’ contributions to India’s international anti-terror campaign.
